The Robot

As stated in the Game Manuals every year, the robot in FTC is the competition vehicle. The robot is the thing that most teams spend the most time on. As a team, we try to have innovative and unique robots for every season.

This year's competition robot is not what we originally thought that it would be. We were working on a custom drive base so that we could have a fully custom robot, aside a few components that we are not able to manufacture. Here are some key points:

  • Complex intake system

  • Lift for rings- servo operated

  • Cup/ magazine for shooting rings

  • High power, high accuracy shooter

  • Lots of 3D printing
